Incredible morning ambiance at the Roman Byzantine Cathédrale of Périgueux … akka Saint-Front. A little bit of San Marco Venice, a little bit Sacré-Cœur (same architect Paul Abadie). The latter look came with the 19th century addition of the 5 decorative cupolas and dozens of spires during restoration of the 12th century abbey (built on foundations of an older Roman church).
